Elatec takes root in East European growth markets closing major deals with mobile telecommunications firms and banks
Munich, 20. December 2005 - The boom in Eastern Europe has opened up great business opportunities for the Telecom & Banking division of Munich-based Elatec GmbH. The specialist in card-based mobile communications and bank applications has sold 70,000 credit cards to the United Bank of Bulgaria (UBB) and has received an even larger order from BH Telekom. The Bosnian mobile network operator has chosen Elatec as its exclusive provider of SIM cards and SIM packages, laying the technological foundation for new applications and services.
