IT-Security Roadshow Sarajewo

On September 23rd 2008 Elatec as Area Partner and 1st Line Distributor of Gemalto (World Leader of Smart Cards for digital Security Solutions) participated on the IT-Security Roadshow at the Holiday Inn Hotel in Sarajewo. This event had been organized by IDC. Among other presenters were Microsoft and Oracle.
Among the approx. 120 participants within the audience were BH Telecom, Procredit Bank, HT Mostar, Global Payments Europe, Hypo Alpe Adria Bank, Price Waterhouse Coopers, Bosna Bank International, Avacom Group, Postbank, NLB, Electroprivredna, Bh Posta, Volksbank, Union Bank, Postbank, Consum, Croatia Osiguranje, Bamcard, Pavlovic International Bank, BBS Bank, Asfaltgradnja, UniCredit Bank the European Network and Information Security Agency.
The topic presented by Elatec was Security and Simplicity which referred to deployment of .Net Smart Cards and Secure Tokens for enhancing the digital security (encryption of documents and e-mails, secure log-on, digital signature and secure remote access by OTP-One Time Password).
