IDC IT-Security Roadshow performed on February 13th at the Belgrade Hyatt Regency Hotel; IT-Security Workshop performed on February 14th at the Lukavac Senad od Bosne Hotel
Elatec as 1st line distributor of Gemalto (World Leader in Smart Cards and Smart Card Solutions) attended together with Gemalto at the IDC IT-Security Roadshow performed on February 13th at the Belgrade Hyatt Regency Hotel and at the IT-Security Workshop performed on February 14th at the Lukavac Senad od Bosne Hotel. This workshop had been organised by NERDA (Development Association of Bosnia & Herzegowina).
Elatec and Gemalto presented Security and Simplicity in the field of PKI Card Applications. In the digital world which we nowadays deal with security is of essential priority. PKI cards or tokens enable to execute state of the art security for logging on to the PC, for submitting encrypted e-mails, for having remote access into the corporate website, for locking the computer or for authorising payments via internet.
Other companies who presented in Belgrade were Microsoft, IBM and Enel. The media partners of this event were Mikro PC World, IT-TV Production, eKapija, economist Magazine and B-92.
The Roadshow and the workshop were a huge success for Elatec and Gemalto. 150 visitors attended the Belgrade event. Among them were ministries, companies and banks such as Agrobanka, Alpha Bank, Banca Intesa, Centralna Banka, Credit Agricole, Delta Generali Insurance, Elektrosrbija, Ernst & Young, Erste Bank, Hypo-Alpe-Adria-Bank, Komercijalna Banka, Laiki Bank, Lukoil Technology Services, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Defense, Ministry of Justice, Narodna Banka, NIS – Naftagas, OTP Banka, Philip Morris International, ProCredit Bank, Radio Televizija Vojvodine, Raiffeisen Banka, Institute of Statistics, Sava Insurance, Telecom Srbija, M-Tel-Bosnia, Promonte – Montenegro, Telenor, VIP Mobile.
50 visitors attended Lukavac event. Among them were ministries, companies and banks such as BH Telecom, Postbank, University Hospital, Epta (Croatia), Solana Salt Mining, Nerda (Organisation for Development in BiH), Ministry of Finance, Furniture Manufacturers, Artcom, m:tel - Telekom Srpkse, Ministry of Internal Affairs, ABS Banka, Public Department for Inspection, Sarajevo Insurance, HT-Eronet, Representatives of the Government, NLB Banka, Federal Employment Office and Hypo Alpe Adria Bank.
