Elatec participates on IDC IT-Security Roadshow in Zagreb on March 1st 2007 at the Regent Esplanade Hotel Zagreb.
Elatec as Area partner of Gemalto will present together with Gemalto on the IDC IT-Security Roadshow in Zagreb on March 1st 2007 at the Regent Espalanade Hotel Zagreb. Among the participating companies there are CISCO Systems, IBM, Oracle, CS-Computer Systems, APC, Internet Security Systems and Recro Net.
The presentation will cover the subject “Strong User Authentication as Business enabler”. The presentation will look into smart card related (“.NET smart card) and non smart card related (Protiva) applications in the field of IT Security.
Typical products in this area are
- employee badges for Logon, Secure e-mail, Lock Computer, remote access, … Badges can be combined with RFID for physical access control. Especially with the “.NET smart card” supported by Microsoft, there won’t be any middle ware necessary for installation and running of card management programs in Windows VISTA. The “.Net smart card” will be part of Software package of Microsoft. Target clients are big corporations, the small & medium sized enterprises as well as the public institutions.

As area partner of Gemalto Elatec has implemented training center for technology partners. Regular trainings are being held in the field smart card based and non smart card based IT Security products and applications.
