PT 9120 GPS RF module:

Princeton Technologies presents a new GPS receiver module

28.09.2007

The PT9120 is a single chip Global Positioning System (GPS) receiver front-end IC requiring few external components and offering extremely low power consumption. The PT9120 employs a superheterodyne receiver topology which downconverts the 1575.42 MHz L1-band GPS signal to a 1st IF which is then filtered by an off-chip L-C filter and subsequently sub-sampled by the 2-bit A/D converter to provide both sign and magnitude CMOS level outputs at a quantized 2nd IF. Multi-modulus prescalers allow the PT9120 to accommodate several reference oscillator frequencies.

The PT9120 is also pin compatible with Nemerix’s NJ1006A IC.

For development purposes, we offer the PT 9120 GPS RF Module, built on the Evaluation Doc Board.

The price for the PT9120 is 1,59$@1000pcs.
