USB/SD Host Audio Decoder IC - PT8921
The PT8921 is a cost-efficient, single chip solution for audio mini-combo player applications. The chip integrates a USB 2.0 FS host controller, SD/MMC host controller, Sigma-Delta Audio-DAC and WAV/MP3/WMA/AAC Audio-Decoder. Few external components are needed, making the PT8921 well-suited for audio sys-tems with USB 2.0 FS host, SD/MMC host, or iPod™ certified-IC control interfaces.
The PT8921’s I/O interface is fully-compliant with both USB 2.0 FS host class and SD/ MMC card interface specifications, and since no special driver software is required, the PT8921 is truly a plug-and-play solution for stand-alone audio systems. Extended functions are available for additional audio sources and applications. The embedded 8-GPIO pins provide capability for customized player function keys and other adjust-ment features.
LCD Driver IC for Car Audio — PT6555/ PT6579/ PT6586/ PT6587
This serie is a high performance Liquid Crystal Display (LCD) Driver IC utilizing CMOS Technology specially designed with Key Input Function. It can drive up to a maximum of 200 segments and control up to 4 general purpose output ports. It includes a Key Scan Circuit that can support up to 30 key inputs and provides On-Chip Voltage Detection Type Reset Circuit which prevents incorrect display. Display Data can be directly displayed without using any decoder. This serie also supports both 1/4 duty-1/2 bias and 1/4 duty-1/3 bias drive techniques. Pin assignments and application circuit are optimized for easy PCB Layout and cost saving advantages.
