Secure management of mobile NFC applications on the SIM card
SIM cards can be flexibly and securely managed via the mobile network. For instance, if a bank customer decides to use his or her mobile phone for contactless payment, the credit card function will be loaded onto the SIM card in the phone “over the air” (i.e., via the mobile network), simplifying the overall process. Customer data and contactless applications can also be updated using this convenient, secure method.
