Tasks and Responsibilities

• In charge of regional business development for defined “Focus Lines” (currently: Displays, embedded boards, touch screens, RFID)

• Implementation of segment and customer targets within the ELCOM strategy for defined “Focus Lines”

• Focus on design-in activities for defined “Focus Lines”

• Identification and development (in co-operation with sales force) of future key accounts by winning of Key Design Sockets

• Global cooperation with various Groups (Sales, Logistics, Suppliers)       

• Management of identified Project

• Maintenance of Project registration system(s), forecasting            

• Proactive support analysis/corrective actions for design-in work of Sales.

• Joint customer visits with Sales and/or suppliers

• Attending on Suppliers Trainings and Workshops

• Writing of Technical Articles

• Preparing and holding technical seminars

·        Preparing of demo boards and demo softwares, testing of new components

General requirements

·        University degrese - electronics

·        Good communication and  presentation skills

·        Fluent English is a must

·        Driving licence, ready to travel

·        Self-action in solving of technical demands

·        Able to work without closer supervision

·        The right candidate should have a wider and more general  technical knowledges then just a narrow specialization. Most important competence  are skills in embeddedPC based systems but overview about electronical components is necessary also

PC based systems

HW competence and skills

·        Understanding  of features and technical parameters  of PC and embedded PC boards, displays and invertors, touch screens, memories, peripheries etc

·        Capability to compile and interconnect particular components (based on technical specifikations of components, f.e. description of interface signals,  timing diagrams …), design and manufacture cabel set, installation OS, setting in operation

SW competence and skills

·        Competence in  OS Windows XP (XPe, WinCE)  - administrator level, experiences with  Linux welcome

·        Instalation and setting up of drivers  up to demands of application, familiar with BIOS

·        Programming languages for web design (PHP or HTML)

·        Knowledges of a C  language or alternativs (C#, C++, .NET ….). Creating of small testing and demo programmes expected.

Electronic  components

·        Overview about electronic components (microcontrollers, dislays and invertors, memories, drivers..) and their basic features, typical technical parameters. Design of simple circuit diagrams (scheme)

·        Basic knowledges of measuring instruments (amperemeter, voltmeter, signal generator, osciloscope…) and skills in measurement of electronic circuits

·        Overview about  operation  with systems for development of microcontrollers – emulator, simulator, programming languages

RFID

·        Knowledges in range of RFID transponders and OEM readers  welcome
