No NRE cost for customized color FS-LCDs from AV-Display!
AV-Display, ShenZhen, China, has introduced a new FS-LCDs (Field Sequential) product line. Unlike normal LCDs, the Field Sequential technology does not require color filters that absorb a lot of the backlight brightness. It also does not subdivide each pixel as it is done with the classical color filter methode.
This technology allows AV-Display an economical production of color LCDs via the monochrome "way".
AV-Display offers customized display modules or Panel LCDs & controller utilizing the FS technology for unbeatable conditions.
AV-Display has also introduced another new Capacitor Touch Panel LCD technology, meaning touch built-in glass but not like normal touch panel is equipped on the surface of LCD. It features the below advantages:
- Lower cost than traditional touch panels, with high reliability, water proof and without mechanical construction limit (=LCD panel).
- The products can be touched easily even with 10mm thickness organic glass.
- Life time is longer than traditional touch panel. Different from traditional touch panel, intergrated on LCD.
- The operation temperature of C-TP is as wide as -40°C .. + ~85°C.
This new technology can be utilized in a wide range of applications such as:
- White products
- Air conditioners
- Control panels
- Instrumentations
- Metering (Electricity, Gas, Water, Heat etc.)
AVDisplay and Elatec do not charge any NRE cost for customized FS-LCDs, with or without C-TP. This special offer is valid till May 15, 2009.
