New Dimming Electronic Ballast & 3-way Dimming CFL Controller ICs from Princeton Technology Corp.
Princeton Technology Corp. (PTC) is pleased to announce the launch of Dimming Electronic Ballast Controller ICs (PT5611 and PT5631) and a 3-way Dimming CFL Controller IC (PT5621).
The PT5611 and PT5631 Dimming Ballast Controller ICs incorporate VCO circuitry and implement closed-loop phase control to control the switching frequency of a half bridge to determine the power delivered to the lamps. The PT5611 and PT5631 support a high degree of flexibility and may be used in applications requiring traditional SCR dimming (PT5631) or potentiometer or remote controller dimming (PT5611).
The PT5621 is a 3-way Dimming CFL Controller IC for 3-way switch dimming products and implements closed-loop current feedback control while supporting accurate switching and oscillation frequencies. The PT5621 is a drop-in replacement for other IC products with the same specification.
The PT56XX series is offered in either DIP16 or SOP16 package types.
